Jennifer King

Loan Officer  //  NMLS #1490928

Jennifer is a native New Mexican who comes to us in her 5th year of mortgage lending after working in consumer banking for several years.  She decided to change her focus to mortgage financing after purchasing her first home in 2016.  “I was in a place in my life where I didn’t think that homeownership was something I could have; but with the guidance of my loan officer at the time, Brian Mozley, I was able to achieve my dream of owning my own home and giving my two boys a permanent foundation and a safe place to call their own.”  Soon after that, she started the process of getting her own license and began working as a Junior Loan Officer at Waterstone Mortgage, where she steadily and consistently built her business for 4-years.  Life came full circle when she began where she started and started working under Brian Mozley at Financial Mortgage Solutions in August of 2020.  During her time as a lender, Jennifer has accumulated a great deal of expertise in all types of mortgage loans and hopes to earn her Residential Certified Mortgage Banker certificate in the next few years.

In her spare time, Jennifer loves to spend time with her fiancé and her two teenage boys, ages 14 & 17.  She loves her dog, and also loves to paper craft and create fun things for her friends and family.  In addition to being a lender, she has also worked at Defined Fitness in Albuquerque for 11-years as a group exercise instructor where she teaches a variety of group exercise classes five times a week.

My mission to our chapter as a chair member is to encourage and support our members in any way I can. I am excited to be able to have the opportunity to give back to our community in a different capacity than I have previously, through networking and outreach alongside other Albuquerque women professionals, who I know love our community as much as I do.

I love New Mexico. It is my home, and I care deeply about its success. I am passionate about my community and the people in it. I love connecting with people and joining them in their wellness journeys, whether they are financial or physical. It especially makes me happy to coach first time homebuyers through the lending process and setting them up for success from the beginning. I don’t mind working hard with someone to get ready, even it takes a long time. Success is earned, and I love seeing the satisfaction my buyers have when they have worked hard for their dream. Now more than ever, our homes are our safe place. I find it to be such an honor and privilege to be a small part of that process.
